I have a new blog which will supercede this page for the most part. As a parting gift, I'm posting some sketches of buildings in Detroit that my late uncle drew. I think they are pretty cool as a set.

Finally got some clips of the tube amp I build recorded. Listen too them here. It is a Bass amp based on an Ampeg B-18 portaflex. I used the original tubes including 7027a power tubes and an 6SL7 pre tube. I'm just happy it works and yes the sound is very good. It sure shows off the flaws in my playing.

I'm slowly getting the rest of this site transfered over. Because I'm rewriting big sections, this is taking quite awhile. Meanwhile, I'm convincing myself that everything Wilco ever wrote is gold. That may not be so but they do have a few interesting chord progressions. Peter Grimes is also a great opera. I was able to see it in Santa Fe and I can see why it is one of Britten's most popular works
I had to pass along this picture of a fish stick burned by a man in Ontario. He kept it in his freezer a year after his son remarked that it resembled Jesus Christ. I looked at it for awhile and then read that it really looked like Jeff Daniels. Decide for yourself. I must warn you that Mr. Daniels spoke at my college graduation and that is indeed his long nose in the tender breading of the fish stick.
